Chapter 426: Cold Feet
What will I say when I see her? I have never been confused about what to say or do. Right now I could only feel something storming and squeezing my chest. Regret. I hated that I didn’t recognize her, that I treated her like a stranger and did nothing about her situation. I knew I didn’t have my memory then but still, it weighed on me too much and right now I don’t know what to do when I see her.
I simply can’t think of anything.
I sighed, closing my eyes and placing my head on her door. Just open the damn door, Emilia, don’t just stand here like a fool!
"Oh you’re back"
I jolted pushing away from the door like it burned me and drifted my gaze with Isabella, I rolled my eyes. "Oh it’s you"
She chuckled. "Were you expecting someone else?"
"You’re still here"
She narrowed her eyes. "Of course... I will very much still be here"

"I know, I just thought you would be with your father after what happened, you know the engagement was ruined and all," I noticed the flash of anger in her orbs and for some reason I loved it. Of course, Isabella and I grew up together and I have always loved like a sister, but in these past few years, we have grown apart even if both of us didn’t acknowledge it.
"Well... I just came back from the down level, I wanted to talk with the prisoner but it seems he has gone missing"
