Chapter 259: Come Back To Me
I heard a purr, wait... I flicked my eyes open, a purr?! Did Dace just purr?! Not a menacing growl but a purr?
He definitely did. Deep, continuous, and soft to the point a shiver caught my body again, why does it sound husky to my ears, or was it just me? It caused a very irresistible feeling to mark my body.
I gasped when he rested his head on my lap, I froze with wide eyes seeing his action, he kept moving his head against my body in a gentle manner, he was behaving like a... cat?
I couldn’t resist a smile on my lips as I watched his gesture, his eyes were closed as he rested himself on my lap. It was just his head but he was super heavy, but I can’t complain because I didn’t want him to stop at all. Watching him right now at ease as he rubbed his head against my lap gave me solace and it liquefied my heart.
He was so fucking cute right now! And I was dying to touch him! So I did, but I was cautious not to stir him up, I slowly moved my hand to his mane, my heart slamming loud beats, and then with a very deep gulp, I squeezed my eyes shut and touch him, a whimper escaped me because I thought the worse, but rather I got more purring sound.
I opened just one of my eyes to be sure and a breath of relief washed over me seeing he was still relaxed. I exhaled sharply as I shaky ran my hand up and down his mane gently and his chest vibrated in a contentment sound.
A smile pressed against my lips and I kept petting him, I noticed his ears twitched too.
"I miss you Dace" my chest was suddenly heavy, I miss his smile, his face, and most importantly his voice, how much I craved for him to say my name.
"Come back to me, please"
