Chapter 227: You’re Not Welcomed
Her eyes were red with dark circles beneath like she cried her heart out, her hair all cluttered and the looks she had on was one of fury and despair.
"You’re not welcome here..." she said in a monochromatic tone. "...Leave" she added gravity to it in a way she doesn’t have to repeat herself.
Was she seriously expecting me to leave? Leave?! While I have no fucking idea what’s going on and why they won’t let me see my female? She had no idea who she was poking on.
I took a step closer but I was mindful of the barrier, they may not know how to fight us but they can sure keep us away, we were unwanted whenever they put on that damn dreamcatcher, it was just that tiny thing that had so much power, that THING was keeping me away from Emma.
"Vanessa" I began in an unpleasant tone, she shouldn’t test me because I won’t have it. "What happened to Emma?"
She’s angry and she’s distressed but that doesn’t mean she should do this, we both knew I wasn’t gonna just leave, she may think she had her responsibilities towards Emma which I understand quite well but I had mine too.
She pointed at me. "I have had enough!" she began more strongly before pointing to the house. "My niece is in there fighting for her life..."
Like a storm was blown to my face, I paled. What does she mean? Fighting for her life? Was she hurt?! The price of the magic she used just how big is it? Why won’t she let me see her?
"What do you mean?!" Emilia asked quickly.
