Chapter 226: Where Is She?!

I barged into the house as well as the rest of the party that followed me to track the Venatores. I was the reason we were back from our hunt but that was the least of my concern. I was blinded by the pain I felt on my mark to the point I felt like dying. I have already checked Emma’s home but I found no one, no one! And it only bugged me further, I couldn’t think straight not until I see Emma.
"Emilia!" I called the moment I blurred to her room but she wasn’t here, she’s missing too? I caught a whiff of her scent and followed it in speed and I was back to the entrance of the house that was when she turned.
"Dace... you’re back?" she asked in shock but I went straight to the point making sure I restrained myself.
"Emma... Where is she?"
"I’m heading to her house right now. She had some presentation to work on so she told me she was staying late and Owen would drop her off. She should have called me by now and I’m worried"
My fist clenched and my teeth did too, forcing myself to speak through them. "She’s not at the house"
"What?" she said with broad eyes. "But it’s late she should be home right now"
I was already at the door. "We’re going to school" I blurred out in speed and I didn’t care if she followed. For some reason I was anxious and my mark kept reminding me that something was wrong, I will not get relief until I set my eyes on her.
I stopped the moment I got to school and saw the authorities.
