I looked at my woman with a half-amused smile, and she looked at me with such an adorable expression. She was already cute, and now that she was in her cat form, it almost felt like my heart was melting every time I looked at her.
She was just too good to be true.
"Alpha maverick, Valencia had asked us to gather some information about the pendant that she has been wearing, which was given to her by the rogue head of the northern regions," Valencia’s man from the rogue side said.
I was surprised. I have seen the pendant she started wearing recently, but I didn’t know it was given to her by that man.
"Is that so?" I asked, my gaze averting to this naughty cat who quickly looked away and tucked her tail between her legs, probably caught off-guard.
"What about it?" I asked.
I will deal with this naughty girl later. First, I needed to act as her interpreter.
"That pendant indeed has royal significance, which probably explains why Prince Ethan went ballistic when he saw the pendant in her neck. As far as we have found out, the pendant is one of the heirlooms of the royalty," Theo said.
’Something that is given to the direct descendant of the family,’ I heard Valencia’s words in my mind, and I hummed.
