I know she was shocked by the revelation of the truth. I didn’t want to reveal it to her like this, either.
I had thought it out—to surprise her and catch her red-handed when she was in her cat form—but how was I supposed to keep control over my overflowing emotions after what the mainland witches said to me?
I still can’t forget their mocking smiles when they looked at me.

"What about her? If you already know about her, you must also know what is happening around her. Is there a way I can help her?" I asked the mainland witches.
"Help her?" Miranda asked me if she were surprised I would ask something like that. \
But why would she give me this kind of reaction?
Shouldn’t I be asking precisely that as someone who loved his woman?
"What does that expression mean?" I asked, Reaper still standing as he looked at the witches with a gaze that said he was ready to take over and attack them if they sprouted a wrong word towards our woman from their mouth.
