Chapter 96 - 95. Premonition
While waiting for her gourmet ramyeon, Sarah unleashed her wrath on the house manager and the head of security--which had been a while.
Whether they worried about her going psycho and destroying more stuff or because the news of her still being in a good relationship with Kang Daniel had reached the mansion, the employees quickly moved to fix the annex. They called electricians immediately, and the annex was soon lit up again not long after Sarah finished her noodles.
Still, there was nothing they could do about the poor ingredients in the fridge that got spoiled. Granted, it was their own carelessness of storing ingredients when they were going to leave for several days, but...who would ever thought that the power would be off?
The electricians seemed to allude that it wasn’t an accident, but Sarah had no idea what the purpose was. To mess with them? To make their life a tad bit shittier from spoiled food?
Was Jasper playing pranks because he was annoyed about not going to the party?
Sarah had no idea, and she had too much other stuff to think about, so she decided to just let it slide as a mere prank. The house itself was still secure, since Hajin didn’t find anything suspicious even after going through the house three times, so...
Perhaps someone was just that stupid and was in the mood for a petty prank.
At any rate, Hajin had to go for a grocery run because serving simple toast and cereal for his master was not up to his standard, and Sarah didn’t want to take ingredients from the main house’s kitchen--who knows what kind of stuff the third wife’s lackeys would put there.
"Mint chocolate, okay?" Sarah repeated once more. "The green one, not white!"
"Why?" Hajin looked at his Master incredulously, who didn’t want to come along because her feet were still sore from wearing a pair of high stilettos last night.
"Why not? I like them," Sarah pursed her lips. "I don’t care if you think it tastes like toothpaste--I’m not speaking to you if you bring me the vanilla one again."
