Chapter 21: Duel(2)
Orion had on a dark brown trench coat that lightly confused Logan.
Orion stared Logan in the eye, "Don’t tell me you practiced that." He laughed at the latter.
"Unlike you, I don’t waste my time on matters as useless as that." Logan readily countered as he stood to his feet.
The training hall they were in had wooden walls and floors that shone with golden light from the small golden runes scattered around the room.
"Shall we begin Logan Kress?" A smile played on Orion’s lips as he asked.
"Gladly." Logan leaned in before running in Orion’s direction.
He placed his hands together and cast the first spell of the duel.
"Dark Shot." Two spheres of darkness shot off aiming for Orion.
The target let out a light chuckle before casting his spell.
"Foil Edge." He muttered before waving the edge of his palm against the spheres.
They split in two before dispersing into corrosive wisps.
