Alpha Mitch didn’t bother lifting his head up from the files he was sorting as he heard the door open.
"We would return to the Mansion tomorrow, go and make preparations" he ordered, thinking it was Gale but his hand paused on the paper and he slowly looked up.
His body froze as he stared in disbelief and was too stunned to react.
The familiar scent and face he had spent endless days and nights searching for was just a few steps away like a dream. He won’t even be surprised if it wasn’t real, he knows he was using his last sheer will to put his wolf under control and hallucinating right now won’t even be abnormal.
Tristan’s already confused state worsened as he could not understand why the Alpha looked at him like he had just seen a ghost.
"Why was everyone acting like he went away for a long time?" He thought in distress.
As if using the speed of lighting, Alpha Mitch was at his front under a few seconds.
They both stared back at each other wordlessly.
Both had so much to ask but for different reasons.
Gale signalled at the maid to leave and they both left quietly.
"Are you alright?" Alpha Mitch asked as he slowly snapped out of the shock. He needed to touch him to know he was real or he was really going insane.
