Chapter 27 - 027
Tristan woke up with a yawn, he stretched and felt his body was extremely light and better than the previous day. He had no idea when slept off but he was happy to have done so.
He was laying on a small bed in a room that looked like something out of an ancient play.
He was still looking around in curiosity when the door opened and his maid walked inside with a tray of freshly made meals and the aroma made his stomach grumble.
"Good morning" she greeted with a smile, causing him to smile back.
"Eat your food and we will take a walk with Agatha before we return home. Since the mating ceremony that’s supposed to happen last night did not we need to return fast before the Alpha gets too worried" She informed him as she remembered what the Alpha went through when Adriana forced him to leave.
"Do you think he would be searching for me?
I bet he is relieved". Tristan trailed off in a sober voice.
"I’m sure he is!.
A few hours is enough to rob the Alpha of his sanity. He is crazy about you but doesn’t even know it yet" She replied firmly ending his doubt.
Tristan looked away in embarrassment, and felt giddy all over to hear her say that. Although he wasn’t sure she was correct and can’t really trust her words, they made him happy.
"The Alpha is crazy about me" he murmured delightfully.
