Villainous Me: Help! The heroines are yanderes!

Chapter 63: The charmer[GTG]

Ryan, ever cautious, navigated the labyrinthine alleys, his senses on high alert for any sign of a high-ranker. He wasn’t quite ready to face such formidable opponents. The creak of a rusty dumpster lid or the distant echo of shouting sent him darting behind the nearest building, desperately seeking the anonymity of the shadows.

Suddenly, the unmistakable clang of steel on steel pierced the relative quiet. Curiosity gnawing at him, Ryan inched closer, his body pressed tight against a rough brick wall. He peeked around the corner, his breath catching in his throat at the sight before him.

Two students were locked in a fierce duel, a display that wouldn’t have been entirely out of the ordinary. But what truly jarred him was the presence of a young girl with striking pink hair and eyes, standing a detached distance away. It was as though she were a mere observer, unfazed by the brutal clash unfolding in front of her. Neither combatant seemed to acknowledge her, nor did she take sides.

The fight raged on, one student relentlessly pressing the attack. Finally, with a triumphant yell, he disarmed his opponent. But instead of the expected celebration, a chilling scene unfolded. The victor, with a look of utter submission, knelt and offered his spear to the pink-haired girl.

"What the fu—" Ryan’s outburst died in his throat. Before he could comprehend the situation, the girl, with a cold glint in her eyes, plunged the spear straight into the kneeling student’s heart. He crumpled instantly, life extinguished in a single, brutal motion.

Ryan’s mind reeled. What power did this girl possess that would compel someone to surrender their life so willingly? Was it an ability? The thought sent a shiver down his spine. If so, it was a terrifying power indeed.

Panic clawed at him as he instinctively turned to flee. But an invisible force slammed him against the wall, pinning him with an unrelenting pressure. Telekinesis? No, it felt... like wind? But who could wield wind with such precision to immobilize him from afar? This reeked of a high-ranker, his worst nightmare come true.

He struggled in vain against the invisible bonds, resigned to his fate. A glance back revealed the pink-haired girl was missing. Before fear could fully paralyze him, a slender hand, impossibly cool, grasped his chin. A foreign sensation coursed through his body, turning his blood to ice.

He looked down, his heart plummeting. It was her. The pink-haired girl, now standing mere inches away, her gaze locked on his. He felt a pull, an invisible force dragging his eyes into hers.

"So, you were trying to escape," she purred, a wicked smile playing on her lips. Her touch lingered on his cheek, sending shivers down his spine, a stark contrast to the coldness of her hand moments before.

"Damn it! Let me go!" Ryan roared, a futile attempt to break free from her hold.
