Chapter 52 - 51 I Am Your Husband
After replying to Gao Chuan’s message, Jiang An secretly breathed a sigh of relief, turning her gaze to her left hand wrapped in bandages, and suddenly realized that she, who had never been good at lying, seemed like a professional liar in front of Dr. Gao.
Xia Zi had already bought two cups of milk tea and handed one to her, looking at Jiang An taking it with one hand, pitifully, "Luckily, it’s your left hand. But don’t worry, the doctor said it’ll heal in at most half a month. It shouldn’t delay your internship."
Jiang An nodded absently, listening to Xia Zi advising her to rest well for the next couple of days, saying there was no need to go help Professor Chen temporarily, as the two of them walked and talked.
Suddenly Xia Zi remembered something, reminding her, "Right, have you filled out your registration form? I’ll submit it together with mine tomorrow."
As Jiang An was sipping her milk tea through a straw, she abruptly stopped in her tracks; had not Xia Zi reminded her, she would have completely forgotten about submitting the registration form. It seemed she had left it at Dr. Gao’s place.
It’s doomed, a misfortune that can’t be avoided by luck.
Seeing Jiang An petrified in her spot, Xia Zi tugged on the girl’s sleeve, pulling her back to reality, "What’s wrong?"
"I left it at home," Jiang An voiced her annoyance.
"Then just go get it. I thought you lost it. If it’s inconvenient for you to go alone, I can accompany you."
