The man raised an eyebrow: "Really?"
"Really!" she nodded affirmatively.
"No matter what I ask you to do, you won’t blame me?" He gave her a meaningful look.
Mu Yiliang had a determined look: "I won’t blame you!"
"Alright." He was pleased, "I’ll hold that promise for now, and I’ll think about what I want you to do later."
"For example, you could ask me to marry you," Mu Yiliang suggested.
"For that matter, I want to make sure you do it willingly, without any outside influence." He chuckled, "Or are you eager to marry me?"
"Of course not!" Mu Yiliang glared, "By the way, you still haven’t answered me, how are you going to launch the M.Y.L system? I haven’t seen any advertisements, nor any hype. Besides, your R&D center can’t really be considered a company. If the product is to be released and marketed, isn’t it necessary to register a company?"
He smiled: "These are minor issues."
"Then what counts as a major issue?" Mu Yiliang was dissatisfied with his perfunctory answer.
Yan Sijue gave her a deep look: "Have you overlooked something while busy finding loopholes recently?"
Mu Yiliang frowned and thought for a moment: "I don’t think so."
Yan Sijue hummed discontentedly, pulled her closer, and his voice turned hoarse: "How about now?"

A man who had refrained himself for so long was indeed terrifying. She was exhausted, unable to even lift her legs. Besides, moments ago on the desk, her legs had nowhere else to go but to wrap around his waist the whole time... It really wore her out!
In a daze, she ate something, then fell into a deep sleep right away. During the night, the man beside her seemed to say something in a blur, but she had no memory of it.
By the time she woke up, it was already broad daylight, and someone was banging on the door outside.
"Come in..." she responded vaguely.
With a series of pattering footsteps, Xiaoze came to her bedside: "Mommy, get up and eat."

"I received an email from Great Grandpa." Xiaoze continued, "It seems the Mu Family is looking for you."

"Great Grandpa said, Mommy, your dad..." Xiaoze hesitated, "is looking for you."
Mu Yiliang sat up, a bit bewildered. For a moment, she almost forgot she still had parents.
She couldn’t remember how long it had been since she’d contacted them. They had completely stopped treating her as their daughter. Mu Yiliang had long grown accustomed to it, never actively reaching out so as not to annoy them.
"Did Grandpa say what it’s about?"
Xiaoze shook his head: "Great Grandpa said he’s only responsible for passing the message. As for whether you want to return to the Mu Family, that’s up to you, Mommy."
Years ago, Grandpa had already withdrawn from the world to focus on scholarly pursuits, and her father had been in charge of family matters. This sudden urgent search by her father could only mean one thing: he needed something from her.
