"Yanyi, after the first match is over, I have a three-day break. Is it okay if I come back to see you and the baby?" Qin Jiran was holding his phone, asking with some anticipation. In reality, since he mentioned it, he had already planned to do so. Asking Yanyi if it was okay was just his way of being playful, longing to hear some sweet nothings from his love.
However, sweet nothings were something Yanyi could listen to, but saying them herself was quite a challenge. So, we hear Su Yanyi responding very rationally, "Half the break will be spent on the plane. Why bother?"
Upon hearing this, Qin Jiran’s hopeful expression immediately crumbled, and he looked at his phone resentfully, saying calmly, "I miss you and the baby."

"..." Qin Jiran never envisioned he would one day be asked such a question. Neither Yanyi’s personality nor her intelligence would typically lead to such an inquiry. Yet, if it were based on Yanyi’s pettiness, perhaps the question wasn’t so unforeseen.
Having thought this, Qin Jiran didn’t hesitate and immediately replied, "Naturally, I miss you more and just think of the baby by the way."
"Hmph!" Su Yanyi snorted arrogantly, satisfied with the answer.
"So, I’ll come back to see you guys then? I’ll take a flight home as soon as the recording ends tomorrow," Qin Jiran said, secretly curling his lips, knowing he had gotten over this hurdle.
Su Yanyi hesitated, imagining the man flying back, hastily staying for a day at home, then flying away again, and felt somewhat uncomfortable.
