Chapter 55: A Family
"Jiran, I understand Yanyi’s personality, and you should too, but since you both have decided to live a good life together, you need to be understanding and cherish each other. Although Yanyi has never mentioned it, she highly regards our parents’ marriage, and I hope you two can be happy together," Su Yanmo expressed, his primary concern naturally being his little sister’s happiness.
"Yanyi is wonderful, and I will do my utmost to take care of her. Please rest assured, Big Brother." He dared not promise that he could definitely give Su Yanyi happiness, because in his view, only someone loved can grant happiness. "I’ve been busy abroad lately, so you’ll need to look after the Su family matters here. Also, visit our parents more often when you have time. Grandfather is also very fond of Yanyi. Seeing you both return home together would make the elders very happy," Su Yanmo effectively expressed his utmost recognition for Qin Jiran with these words.
Qin Jiran was surprised and delighted but didn’t say anything to decline.
