Chapter 328: Drug?
"She has only fainted from extreme stress, it isn't anything serious." Grayfia checked Fubuki's pulse and temperature before moving back. The two guys still looked on edge about her, but they didn't move because of three Class S Heroes in the shop.
They only hoped for Fubuki to come to her senses soon. Yet, she wasn't moving. Her head lay on the marble table her chin-length hair covered her face. The awkward hair hung around the shop for a while, before the bell chimed.
"What's with the mood?" Adam came in with a bunch of bags in his hands. He stepped out to get some groceries at the local supermarket, but a lot changed in that short hour he took off.
"I see, so you guys caused a little ruckus, huh." Adam looked at the Blizzard group after hearing things from Grayfia. He turned to look at Isamu and Bang to thank them for stepping in, but understanding it the older man shook his head.
"I owe you a big one for treating my injuries. So, don't mind it. If problems come for you just give this old man a call I'll help with what my old body allows." The two had hit it off in an instant when Bang arrived. The old man was easy to talk to and reliable too.
"I'll remember that." Adam turned back to Fubuki and her group.
"You don't have to fake it you know." His words made Fubuki flinch on the table. Though she still raised her thumping head in a trance avoiding the piercing stares.
She came to her senses when Adam walked in and was thinking what to do. To her dismay Eyelashes and Mountain Ape couldn't do anything to get her out of this place. And she didn't blame them for how scared they were. Part of her hoped that at least they left on their own, because she would be safe no matter the situation.
'But, they aren't angry with us so we haven't messed up yet... aside from her...' Fubuki looked away from Grayfia who lurked behind the white-haired man keeping an eye on her.
