"Well, I did what I could and made some money from it. Too bad that I couldn't get the money Metal Knight promised for the Sample. Still, this is enough. I have delayed them enough so the others can swoop in." With a snicker, he sent the file Sitch prepared about Adam and Grayfia to his personal contacts.
Soon he saw notifications of money getting deposited in his bank accounts. He made tons of easy money using the Hero Association and made sure to stab them in the back so they wouldn't get their target to strengthen his control in the organization.
But, neither the Hero Association, McCoy, nor the other organization he sold info to knew that someone else had arrived at Adam's doorstep with a recruitment offer.
A black sedan stopped right in front of Adam's shop as the lanky driver jumped out of the car and opened the backdoor. An elegant figure of a lady stepped out of the backdoor. The black dress clung snugly to her curvaceous figure draped in a snow-white mink coat. She looked ready for business but in style.
Standing in high heels she took the sunglasses from the burly man on the left. Her green eyes looked at the shop in front as she put them on.
"So, this is the place. Let's go, guys, we have to make an impression." She said in a confident tone.
"Yes Fubuki-Sama!!" The burly man followed while keeping an eye around as the lanky guy kept the umbrella above her head.
Being shielded from the sun she arrived at the Shop's entrance. Without a second's hesitation, she pushed the door open and entered.
What came into view was a tranquil shop that had the right temperature to give her comfort.
She looked around the quiet shop, noticing an old man and a child in the far back. But, her eyes searched for her target. Ignoring the customers she turned to the woman in the Maid dress. The second target had arrived.
"Is there anything you'd like to order Miss?" The silver-haired maid asked in a polite and gentle tone.
