Heaven Refining physique

Chapter 71: Leaving The Forbidden Zone

They had already fought many times in the past 11 months, so they were quite familiar with their style; Jiang Hao still loved to use his fist, as his understanding of the sword was still minimal.

Also, his primal essence works with the fist only. The sword will be refined instantly if he holds it. When they both became ready, they nodded to each other and moved at the same time.

They appeared in front of each other in the blink of an eye.

Jiang Hao stepped forward, his fist shimmering with a deep, primal essence. As he struck, the air around his knuckles distorted, carrying the weight of his refining power. Ming Yue met his approach with a calm gaze, a thick layer of ice forming over her arms and torso just in time to absorb the impact. The armor cracked and refined upon contact, but it bought her the moment she needed to slip to the side, her sword flashing toward his ribs.

Jiang Hao redirected his fist toward her weapon. The moment his knuckles grazed the blade, a faint sizzling sound echoed—the ice on the sword’s surface withering under his touch. Ming Yue reacted instantly, withdrawing her weapon before his essence could spread further, her free hand forming another layer of frost to reinforce her defenses.

Not giving her space, Jiang Hao launched another punch, each movement precise and forceful. His strikes weren’t wild but carried a heavy inevitability, forcing her to stay on the move. She weaved through his offense, her footwork light as she countered with swift, controlled slashes, aiming for the openings left in his aggressive approach.

A single misstep—her balance wavered for the briefest moment. Jiang Hao’s fist closed in, brushing against her shoulder. The ice armor shattered instantly, a numbing chill racing through her arm before she managed to retreat. Without pause, she reformed her protection, her breath steady despite the clear danger his fists posed.

The spar continued, Jiang Hao pressing forward with relentless force, Ming Yue responding with cold precision, their movements flowing like an unspoken conversation—one of raw strength against adaptability.

After fighting for at least half an hour, they separated.

They looked at each other and smiled; there were some bruises on their bodies, which didn’t take much time to heal.

After their spar, Huan Caiyi and Zhi Hui came to them.
