Chapter 69: After 11 Months
Jiang Hao shook his head and began reading at a normal voice; it was enough for her to listen.
Since today Huan Caiyi was creating a proper place for them to live in, they were free to do whatever they wanted, so learning a profession wasn’t a bad idea. As he was still a beginner at swordsmanship and without guidance, there was no need to practice that for now.
Although he wanted to learn the way of the sword, he still preferred fighting with his hands for the time being. Since he had used only his hands till now, he just felt natural with them.
They read for the whole day before night came. This book contained simple arrays which were for beginners and apprentice-level array practitioners.
To become a beginner-level array practitioner, you have to master at least 10 arrays which are Grade 1 or Qi Refinement realm. For apprentice level, you need to learn 10 Grade 2 and 10 Grade 3 arrays.
This book contains 30 arrays exactly, and if they are able to master them, then they will become apprentice-level array practitioners.
It has explanations about further stages: for Expert level, you need to master 10 arrays of Grade 4 and 5; for Master level, you have to master 10 arrays of Grade 6 and 7; similarly, for Grandmaster level, you have to master 10 arrays of Grade 8 and 9; and finally, Saint-level array practitioners need to master 10 arrays of Grade 10 level.
This classification is similar for alchemists too. They have to just master making pills instead of drawing arrays. Also, success rates may differ from alchemist to alchemist, but that is a different matter altogether.
"Hnghhh.... it was really tiring," Ming Yue stretched herself while saying.
Jiang Hao wanted to ask when does listening and watching him draw some arrays become tiring—were her eyes and ears tired?
"Junior brother, let’s go. Comprehending 10 Grade 1 arrays in 1 day is quite good progress. We have passed the minimum requirement for Beginner level."
