Chapter 453: A City For Humans
It didn’t take Bishop long to find the Sins, plus the Reaper and the Hellhound. The eight men were standing around in a circle, shooting the shit like the world wasn’t crumbling around them.
"Having fun?" asked Bishop as he strolled into their midst. It took him a moment to realize that Eric was also in their midst. "I could use your help."
Wrath cocked his head to the side as Eric chuckled softly under his breath. "That depends; what do you want our help with?"
"Either saving the humans or dealing with the bugs," replied Bishop, his eyes narrowing as even more of the Sins started snickering like they had just heard the best joke ever. "Want to share what’s so funny?"
"You," replied Envy, a brittle smile on his face. "You seem to think that we care."
"You’re here, aren’t you?" replied Bishop, cocking his head to the side. "Doesn’t that count for something?"
"We’re here because Hattie is," replied Tank, looking around the place with disgust. "And right now, she is peacefully sleeping with Ronan in the house by the bayou. She hasn’t given us any commands."
"Perfect," sneered Bishop with a nod of his head. "If she hasn’t given any commands, then that means you’re all free. I need every person in this facility, both the Sanctuary side and the Base side, to evacuate. Take then beyond the walls, someplace that is safe. Those who aren’t helping with the evacuations will help with the exterminations. Fire is no longer an option, so we need to find another way of dealing with the infestation."
"Look at you," smirked Wrath, his eyes glowing red as the afternoon sun started to set. "Thinking you are in charge. It might actually be cute if it wasn’t so annoying."
