Chapter 356: Set The World On Fire
I wasn’t even halfway up the cliff when my muscles started screaming in protest. My hands were cramping in pain, but I ignored everything. My entire world seemed to narrow down into one mindless chant.
Hand, hand, foot, foot, push up. Hand, hand, foot, foot, push up. Hand, hand, foot, foot, push up.
The words flowed from my mouth even as Tank and Dimitri tried to distract me. The two men were on either side of me, keeping up with my pace. Not going any faster and not falling behind. Luca stayed directly behind me.
I knew it was so that he could catch me before I plunged to my death, but I refused to be weak. My house was up there, and by everything holy and unholy, I was going to get my answers, even if I had to burn everything down and start from scratch.
"It’s okay, Sweetness," murmured Tank. I could feel him looking at me, but it only made me more frustrated. This was so easy for the three of them that it seemed like I was the only one struggling. I didn’t want to be the weakest link. I knew I was powerful... I just wasn’t strong.
"I’ve got this," I assured him, just as my foot slipped. Dimitri reached out and placed his hand on my ass, making sure that I didn’t fall. That would teach me to concentrate on anything but my rhythm.

It seemed to take forever, but eventually, I was at the top of the mountain. My weak legs gave out, and I collapsed on the grassy summit.
"Is dat de house?" asked Dimitri, his voice astonished as he looked at what I had seen.
