Chapter 353: Make Them Envy You
The days seemed to stretch on forever as we continued to just absently float in the flood waters. While I had wanted to take a vacation away from everyone and everything, I started to realize one very important fact.
I got bored easily.
A soft chuckle above my head made me realize that my squirming wasn’t going unnoticed. "Bored?" purred Salvatore as he stroked my bare back.
I was lying on top of him on the massive bed that I had conjured. Everyone had quickly picked a room or a hammock to call their own while I was sun tanning, leaving a supply closet the only option for me and my nine men.
Since that didn’t go over very well, and Sadie and Colt were already all set up in the Captain’s quarters, I had the ship create a brand new room for me and mine.
It was massive, taking up the entire lower deck of the ship from nose to tail. Not only were there small windows looking into the water, but there was also no easy access to it from the rest of the ship. Only we could get in and out.
Plus, with a bed big enough for all of us, I really didn’t see much reason to leave. Other than the mind-blowing boredom, of course.
Humming, I nodded my head, enjoying the feeling of his fingers all over my skin. The rest of the guys had already left earlier, leaving just the two of us. "What can I do?" asked Salvatore, his chest vibrating under my cheek with every word he spoke.
"I don’t know," I sighed. "It feels like something crawling under my skin, warning me that something is about to happen. I just have no idea what that might be. Like I should be doing something other than just lying in bed."
