The Purple Mark Guard was standing outside. He saw someone appearing all of a sudden and stood up. The next second, he saw the person was none other than Zack Lockwood.

The Purple Mark Guard saw the golden aura around Zack Lockwood. The aura was thick and intense.

It showed that Zack Lockwood had become a Gold Mark Warrior. The Purple Mark Guard smiled.

"You didn’t disappoint. You have become a Gold Mark Warrior in this short period of time," he said.

"Yes, I can’t wait to test my strength," I replied.

The Purple Mark Guard then brought me to the Dean’s office. When I got there, I saw Dean Jerome sitting behind the desk.

Dean Jerome opened his eyes and saw the golden aura around Zack Lockwood—proof of him being a Gold Mark Warrior.

"Sit," Jerome said.

Hearing that, I sat down. The Purple Mark Guard left the place. A silence filled the room.

Jerome said, "You didn’t disappoint me. My efforts over the past three months were not wasted."

A hint of curiosity appeared in my eyes. I wanted to know what had happened in the last three months as well.

Jerome saw through Zack Lockwood’s thoughts and began to tell him. He wanted Zack Lockwood to be prepared for the upcoming trials so that he could handle any situation.

My heart was heavy. I knew the outside world had changed since I was in the secret land, but I didn’t expect this many changes to occur. Jerome saw that Zack Lockwood’s thoughts were heavy.

"Okay, you can return to your room now. I’ll send you to the warrior camp tomorrow morning," Jerome said.

The next second, the Purple Mark Guard appeared. He took Zack Lockwood away from the Dean’s office.

In the blink of an eye, he reached the Thunderflame Faction. He entered the place without alerting anyone and dropped Zack Lockwood in front of his residence.

"Don’t talk to anyone, even your own members. The last incident could repeat itself," the Purple Mark Guard said before leaving.

"Sigh!"

I heaved a sigh of relief. Then I turned around and walked up to the door. I was entering the room for the first time in three months.

I opened the door and walked inside. I turned on the lights and my gaze fell upon the room. As I expected, the room was covered in dust and spider webs. I started cleaning the room right away.

The campus started at the usual time. The warriors were learning and practicing; there was a sense of urgency in everyone.

Faction Leaders and the Main Elders were training their faction members hard. These changes were all because of the foreign creatures.

The other forces had restricted their genius warriors from venturing outside. Everyone was on guard against the foreign creatures.

They didn’t want another Jerome to rise in such a short period of time. They were determined to kill Zack Lockwood, even if they had to go against fellow forces.

Previously, they had failed in their attempts. No one was able to complete the task. They had even dispatched Gold Mark Warriors to kill him, yet they still failed.

Not long ago, they dispatched a Purple Mark Warriors to kill Zack Lockwood, but they died mysteriously.

The higher-ups thought they were eliminated by Zack Lockwood’s protectors.

Everyone knew Zack Lockwood was being targeted by the foreign creatures, and it was normal for Dean Jerome to have someone guarding him.

The Dark Shadow University didn’t plan on giving up. They were ready to send more Purple Mark Warriors to kill Zack Lockwood; they were just waiting for news.

Then I thought about the Outer Circle Elder who had tried to kill me. If anyone tried to attack me now, it would be easy for me to kill them.

I am a Gold Mark Warrior now; I can fight against a Purple Mark Warrior with ease.

Then I thought of the elite race creature. With Silver Mark strength, it was hard to fight against an Elite Race member. I believe that Gold Mark strength will make the difference.
