When the aftermath settled, my gaze fell on the site. Everything seemed to have quieted down, but I could still feel the presence of the creature.

I gripped the white bone staff tightly. I started walking forward.

I knew the creature could use abilities. It had already shown an invisibility ability. Who knew if the creature could use another one?

A sense of alertness rose within me as I stepped in front of the impact site.

There was a deep crater in front of me. I walked up to the crater. I saw a massive snake creature on the ground.

The horned, snake-like foreign creature was still alive. Its massive body gave off the pressure of the Peak of the Red Mark Strength.

If it were other elite creatures, they would have exploded upon coming into contact with the purple lightning film.

Yet this elite creature had only suffered a deep wound. I began to notice the wounds, the foreign creature was severely wounded.

Black blood was coming out from the wound. Seeing that the foreign creature was severely bleeding, I decided to act right away.

I held the staff in my left hand and raised my right hand.

I began to use the lightning finger technique. I executed the attack right away.

A dense lightning ball formed at the tip of my index finger, dark in color.

The massive body of the foreign creature was covered in a web of purple lightning arcs. The foreign creature could not even resist.

This time, the lightning power spread inside its internal organs. It caused destruction to everything along the way. The snake-type elite creature didn’t even have time to scream.

Its internals were being electrocuted. The dark lightning power didn’t give the creature a chance to counterattack.

When the aftermath settled, a strong burnt smell attacked my nostrils. Black smoke was coming from the body of the elite snake-like foreign creature.

The foreign creature was not moving at all. The foreign creature was cooked this time. I could not see any vitality remaining in the body of the foreign creature.

"The elite creature is dead," the ancient spirit said.

Hearing that, I heaved a sigh of relief. Next, I activated my mental power and spread it across the place. It was only the first foreign creature.

But I knew it was not the only foreign creature. There could be more foreign creatures on the battlefield. I asked the ancient spirit to pay attention.

I began to move through the deep forest. I started walking along the path. There were overgrown bushes on both sides.

As time passed, I covered more distance.

The surrounding areas were within my attention. I found out that the area of the secret land was huge. It was taking so much time.

"I sensed something ahead. Go and check the place," the ancient spirit said.

Hearing that, I followed the direction further down the path. Then I saw a group of humanoid foreign creatures moving together.

Unlike the horned creature, these creatures had bald, oval-shaped heads. They didn’t have horns. Their bodies were covered in a pitch-black color.

They wore armor vests like human warriors. Seeing that, I raised my eyebrows in surprise because I was seeing this for the first time.

The energy radiating from their bodies was at the Peak of the Red Mark Level. There were five humanoid creatures.

Suddenly, the foreign creatures stopped moving forward. They became alert. One of them stopped moving, turned around, and looked in my direction.

The oval-headed creature opened its mouth wide. The wide mouth had a sharp row of teeth. The teeth were over an inch long.

Seeing that, I continued to watch the face of the creature. A creepy smile widened across its mouth. Then I saw that the actual mouth of the creature was even larger.

The other four foreign creatures turned around as well. They spotted me. They flashed the same creepy smile.

"Watch out. These creatures are not ordinary either," the ancient spirit said.

Hearing that, I realized these foreign creatures were different from the foreign creatures in the Sub-Post.

Swoosh!

The five humanoid creatures darted from their spots. They charged at me at high speed. In a flash, they appeared before me.

Boom!

I held the white bone staff in my hand. I began to rotate the white bone staff. I covered the white bone staff in a purple lightning power film.

A small thunderclap sound occurred. The white bone staff was full of dark purple lightning arcs.

The humanoids tried to surround and attack me. I began to use the staff technique and footwork.

The top end of the staff came down at a fast pace. In a flash, it struck the shoulder of one of the humanoids. Upon contact, the dark lightning power detonated.

The powerful impact force sent the foreign creature flying.

It happened within a minute. The other four humanoids were stunned. Then, the other four creatures tried to attack me with their wide mouths open.

Boom!

I swung the staff at the second foreign creature. The staff struck its mouth. The dark purple lightning power blasted the mouth away.

Weird!

The second humanoid made a sound of pain. The creature rocketed backward before crashing into the ground.

As time passed, I continued swinging the staff at the other creatures. The bottom end of the staff struck with huge force against the enemies.

Boom!

The other humanoids were then sent flying back. When the aftermath settled, the five humanoids were at the crash site, struggling to get up.

The dark lightning power had done serious damage, but they were still not dead. It showed the difference between them and the other foreign creatures in the main post.

I walked up to one of the pits and saw the first humanoid whose shoulder had been hit earlier. Right now, the humanoid was covered in dark energy.

The dark energy was so thick that, at first, it appeared like a cloak. Just as I was watching the humanoid,

Crack!

The humanoid stood upright. It was a ten-foot-tall humanoid. It looked at me. The next second, the two hands of the creature elongated further. Its claw-like fingers had become larger.

Boom!

The humanoid then rushed toward me. The movement of the creature was so fast that it appeared before me in a flash.

Boom!

I used the white bone staff to block the attack. The staff came into contact. At the point of contact, the dark lightning power tried to destroy the dark energy.

I could see that dark energy was being destroyed as well, but it was happening at a slow rate. My eyes filled with surprise.

This time, it was not one-sided destruction from my side. I had met my match here. I took a few steps backward before striking from the side.

The humanoid creature was prepared this time with the dark energy power. It evaded the attack without much difficulty.

Seeing that, I continued repeated strikes, not giving the humanoid a chance to counterattack.

But the humanoid was using the dark energy to boost its strength. It didn’t take a single hit from the staff.

On the other hand, the other four humanoids had used their dark energy as well. They were now completely covered in dark cloaks.

They darted out from their spots as well. In the blink of an eye, the situation changed. The fast-moving humanoids started attacking me as a group.

From the offensive, I was pushed into a defensive position. I knew the power of the Dark Purple Lightning Sprout. It had consumed the special energy in the environment and adapted to this new place.

As a result, my lightning power was many times stronger than before. Yet, such lightning power was only slightly affecting the dark energy of the enemies.

The ancient spirit was paying attention as well. It had figured out something about the dark energy that appeared like a cloak.

It wanted Zack Lockwood to finish the battle first. It had been a long time since it had seen Zack Lockwood struggling against enemies.

It knew that the situation would change if he used other elements.
