If they lost this Firebird sanctuary—the nesting ground of the phoenixes—they’d have no way to hold back the Dungeon army. And with Emerald Castle’s current strength, even with the northern Tower faction’s Archmage Eldrin on their side, their chances of winning would be practically zero!
Realizing this, Auremax quickly spoke up. "My Lord, we need to join the battle—now!"
"If we don’t hold this place, we lose any hope of continuing the fight. Without the Firebirds and phoenixes to pin down the Dungeon forces... we’re done for!"
Ethan’s expression turned grim as he nodded.
"I know..."
He was well aware of how critical this sanctuary was.
It was one of Emerald Castle’s last real hopes of turning the tide—maybe even winning this war.
If anything happened to this place, the consequences for Emerald Castle would be catastrophic.
"But if we just charge in head-on... I doubt it’ll make a real difference."
"Protecting the Firebird sanctuary and that Firebird hero is important, no question. But... what if we could take out one of those three Dungeon heroes? Or even more than one? Wouldn’t that be even better?"
