Chapter 115: In war, everyone dies
Lilith flashed Ethan a polite smile and said respectfully, "Honorable Lord, we meet again."
As soon as she finished speaking, she hesitated for a moment before carefully continuing, "Great Lord, I’ve thought about this for a long time, and I’ve finally made up my mind—I want to join your castle. I want to serve under your banner."
Ethan was momentarily stunned, then let out a chuckle. "You want to? This isn’t just about what you want. Haven’t I already told you? I may sympathize with you, and I do respect you to some extent, but that doesn’t mean I can trust you."
"I understand," Lilith said, clenching her teeth slightly. "But I can prove myself to you. Even if it’s just a little."

Ethan raised an eyebrow, his gaze sharpening as he studied her. "Go on, then. What do you have to say?"
"Lord Ethan, are you aware of the Evil Faction Invasion Wars?" Lilith asked.
"The Evil Faction Invasion Wars?" Ethan frowned. "You mean the large-scale invasions launched by the three chaotic evil factions—Dungeon, Inferno, and Necropolis—against the other factions?"
"Exactly."
Lilith nodded and continued, "Dungeon, Inferno, and Necropolis... These three chaotic evil factions don’t necessarily share the same goals in war, but one thing remains constant—every few millennia, without fail, they launch an all-out assault on the other factions."
"And the main battleground for these wars is right here, on the central continent of the world."
