As if sensing Ethan’s confusion, Azariel bowed deeply before him.
In a hushed tone, using an ancient noble etiquette from the Tower faction, he spoke. "Honored Lord, there’s no need for doubt. What you see before you is merely a fragment of my soul."
"A fragment of your soul?" Ethan frowned slightly.
Azariel nodded, his expression tinged with sorrow. "My true form perished alongside my master in battle. But I still exist... because my master refused to let his magical legacy vanish into the dust of history."
He paused for a moment, then looked at Ethan with a flicker of astonishment in his eyes.
"My name is Azariel. It is an honor to meet a Lord as powerful as yourself..."
As he spoke, his gaze involuntarily swept over Cicero, Seraphina, Elyra, and Eldorin. His eyes flashed with shock.
Clearly, he was utterly stunned.
Even the weakest among them, Eldorin, was at least on par with him. And the strongest—Seraphina and Cicero, the two Green Dragons—were Legendary Units, Green Dragon heroes of the Crimson Ultimate rank. Their sheer power was beyond imagination.
Ethan, however, remained focused. "Can you tell us about this magical laboratory? And what exactly is this ’magical legacy’ you mentioned?"
Azariel didn’t hesitate. "Of course, it would be my honor."
