" N...No, what will the people say?" Bella said, and then, as she took her first step, her legs almost gave out, the pain was greater than what she anticipated. Lukas, who had almost superhuman reflexes, caught her in midair.
" Girl, where are you staying?" Lukas asked if he could just take her to her room if she was staying in the same hotel.
" I am staying in the Hampton Inn, it’s a three-star hotel, maybe a ten-minute drive," Bella said. She was feeling extreme pain in her waist and was not comfortable walking around.
" Yeah, I can’t take you there. You know how the situation is, right? I am so sorry if I was not on my phone so much while waking." Lukas felt serious guilt, he just held her. She was quite tall, maybe around 5’7" (17 cm).
" D...don’t worry about it." Bella was mesmerized seeing Lukas so close to her face, he was super handsome, and many women wanted him, now even many men, but she got to see him so up close.
Bella tried to free herself from Lukas only to feel the pain returning, so she just gave up on standing up by herself and just lay in Lukas’s arms.
" I’ll take you back to my room, and you could just take a rest there. If by tomorrow you still feel this pain, you could just see a doctor. Don’t worry, I will pay for your medical bills," Lukas said gently. She was really a nice girl, and he couldn’t just abandon her after injuring her.
