Chapter 7: Lukas Gets a Little Shocked.
Lukas, hearing the coach, looked at him with a very, very weird gaze because he was very confused at the coach's intentions.
"Don't misunderstand, I am not telling you to join the college team, Lukas. You have a natural pitcher physique or maybe something better, a natural baseball physique. I'll test your batting next time when there are no eyes or fewer eyes around," Coach said smilingly. The drive was short, they reached the Nassau Inn shortly.
Lukas got out of the car and walked with Coach inside the inn, the seats in the inn at this time were mostly vacant.
The coach chose a comfortable corner table and gestured for Lukas to sit there, Lukas, nodding his head, sat down.
"Listen here, boy, you have far more potential than you can even think. I can guess by your 'I am not interested face' that you don't even know what kind of talent you possess, so let me clarify it for you. " The coach said then he put his jacket behind the chair he was about to sit in, and Lukas now looked very much interested in hearing what this fat man had to say.
"Sir, may I take your order, please? " A Black woman came, her face looked like she was tired and wanted to get out of here as soon as possible.
"Yes, two New England clam chowders, two roasted beef sandwiches, and one big cola. What would you have, Lukas? " Henry directly ordered for himself and looked at Lukas.
No wonder he's this fat.
"One beef sandwich and a bottle of mineral water, please, " Lukas said, he was actually shocked by this coach's food habit.
