Chapter 5: Pitching for the first time.
"Yes, I want to participate," Lukas said while nodding his head towards the boy.
"Alright, bat or pitch? " Nerdy-looking boy asked Lukas, he was almost yawning in the middle of the huge crowd.
"Pitch, I want to try out for the pitching, " Lukas said seriously, as the system would give him a hard five thousand cash if he just pitched once.
"Alright, go into the bullpen. Do you see that line over there? That's your line. The nerdy boy saying this pulled out a pen and looked at Lukas with an inquiring gaze.
"Lukas Martin? " Lukas understood, this boy was maybe writing names of the students who are here for the tryouts.
"Subject?" Nerdy boy wrote Lukas's name on the page he was carrying and asked for a subject.
"Economics, first year," Lukas replied, the saw nerdy boy nodding his head, and went on his way.
Lukas then slowly went behind the line in the bullpen, there were many students who were trying out, and Lukas was just thinking when will this be over and he will go and study.

The bat-hitting-the-ball sound could be heard from far away, Lukas was not alone in the back of the line anymore, there were students who were lining behind him as well.
