Chapter 177: Monster Queen Elimination(Part 3)
"Good work! Now, fall back and cover me, make sure none of the weaker Monsters interfere! Don’t let your guards down, this battle is only just getting started!" Commanded Jules, as she drew out her blade and shot forward.
"Understood, Commander, you can count on us!"
"We’ll keep them at bay, ma’am!"
Jules then swung her sword across as a roaring, swirling fireball came shooting towards her with immense speed, her blade slicing through it and killing its momentum.
She was up against a Fire Wyvern Queen. Fire Wyverns were High Level Monsters, essentially smaller and weaker versions of Fire Dragons.
The team accompanying her was made up of First-Class and Second-Class Knights, their role had been to eliminate the Monsters protecting the Queen, but there were too many Fire Wyverns for them to handle without suffering casualties, so Jules had stepped in to help thin the herd, she was intense on completing this task without losing anyone.
There were only a few of the Monsters left now, the other Knights were handling them while Jules was making a beeline for the Queen.
It was smaller than the other Fire Wyverns and didn’t have wings, instead having an additional pair of arms growing out where the wings would usually be.
Its lower jaw protruded ahead of its upper jaw, its fangs were jagged and uneven, and the tip of its tail was split in two and had a fiery glow of immense heat, the air around it shimmering.
It roared fiercely as Jules shot towards it, before snapping its jaws open and unleashing a blazing wave of flames towards her from its mouth.
"So, I have to literally fight fire with fire, huh? Let’s see how your flames compare to mine, shall we?"
