Chapter 127: Swapped(Part 1)
"Y-you damned Commoners-...ow!"
"Ugh, shut up, we’ve heard all that crap more times that we can count, I’m pretty sick of it at this point," Frowned Lexia, before slapping him again for good measure.
"Damn, I wish that was me," Sighed Colt wistfully.
"Grr..."
It was the 5th of May, 1919, and Colt and Lexia were currently in Amber Village, where a Noble who had been discovered to have been supporting Exalt had been identified.
While the vast majority of Exalt’s supporters had already been imprisoned, some of whom had been executed with a lot of the rest scheduled for execution as well, a few had slipped through the cracks, and the Knights had been trying to identify them by interrogating their allies.
Colt and Lexia had been tasked with apprehending this Noble, which they managed without any trouble. They had broken all four of his limbs, leaving him immobile and slumped against the wall.
"Hey, let’s rip out a few fingernails before we turn him in," Suggested Colt with a gleam in his eyes, the Noble’s face turning pale.
"No, I don’t want to get lectured again. But before we go, we should search the place. There might be evidence on any other collaborators and supporters of Exalt," Pointed out Lexia objectively.
"Yeah, good point."
"I know."
