Chapter 2: I know what you are
As he looked from one attentive face to the other, memories of what he had read in [To Kill A Demon Lord...] came to the forefront of his mind and he remembered that this was the exact setting Caius had been introduced.
Because the story had been told from the perspective of Aurelius, the actual main character, this was the first time the readers got introduced to Caius’ character and he had been described as cool and nonchalant. Uncaring for all the attention he got from his fellow students and the female body of the faculty.
Kevin couldn’t retain the same attitude. He was unused to getting this much attention and he wasn’t sure how to deal with it. Also, he still wondered how any of this was even possible.
It had to be a dream.
"Caius, we’re waiting," the woman in the purple robe said.
Now that Kevin realized this was the story he had spent a year reading and following, he knew who she was. She was just as described. Incredibly beautiful and so powerful that the mere aura of her magic kept her wavy White hair swaying even though there was no wind;
She was Elvira Lennox, the Headmistress of the Lochxen Academy and the men and women who flanked her by the sides were the teachers. Referred to usually as Professors.
"Bah, preposterous!" One of the male Professors said suddenly and sniffed while eyeing Kevin.
"Professor Malvin?" Headmistress Elvira called still with a smile and a raised brow.
The Professor called Malvin sniffed,
"I’m sorry, Headmistress, but his willful disobedience is sickening. And with his hands in his pockets too? Who does he think he is?!"
