Mia Wilson glanced down at the students doing their exercises. The boys immediately perked up, stretching their necks to get her attention. Mike Adams even stood on his tiptoes, using his height to his advantage. Kevin, just standing there, naturally stood out among the boys.

Passing by the director’s office, she saw Vanessa coming out. Vanessa’s face showed a fleeting panic but quickly turned into a smug smile. "Mrs. Wilson, are you here to see Mr. Carter? I advise you not to waste your time. Mr. Carter won’t help you." She then licked her lips provocatively and swayed back into the office.
Mia shook her head, realizing Vanessa saw her as a competitor.
