Chapter 29: The Real Cassie
Adam watches as Cassie shifts around on her chair nervously beside him. At first glance, he can tell that Cassie is a shy girl, but what Adam is interested in is what’s behind this shyness of hers.
Because Adam believes it’s not all so simple.
The very first time he laid his eyes on her, Cassie was wearing a very revealing dress, a sun dress that covered only the lower half of her breasts, while also being only long enough to cover parts just a few centimeters below her ass.
A girl who is naturally shy in nature would never wear something like this, and even if someone like this decides to wear something revealing, it would not be as revealing as the sun dress she was wearing.
Of course, Adam is just speculating, and that is why he wants to know if all of this is just an act or if she really is innocent, naïve, and shy.
"So, how long have you been working here for?" Adam asks.
"Mnnn, not long. It’s been about a month," Cassie answers as she sneak peeks at Adam while also averting her gaze.
Adam smiles. He continues to ask simple questions that are not too forward in nature to help Cassie relax into the conversation, which starts to show results.
After a few minutes, Cassie looks less nervous and is speaking with much longer sentences while also keeping eye contact with Adam.
Just like Adam expected, the act is breaking, and Adam can see through the cracks. Cassie is hiding her confident self behind this shy, innocent girl act.
Adam knows these types of girls, the ones who pretend to be shy and innocent and act cute before guys they are interested in, because most guys like when girls are soft and submissive in nature.
