This can’t be happening. Katherine’s eyes widened in fear as she clasped her hands on the hole in Aaron’s chest, trying to stop the blood oozing out. Blood had seeped and stained his white shirt in a rapid, unthinkable way.

She can’t lose him now when they just got together. Her Aaron—her hands trembling, tears rolling down her cheeks, each falling on Aaron’s contoured face in pain.
Aaron wrapped her hands softly, smiling—his beautiful smile that she loved so much felt like a hellish nightmare now.
"Baby—" Aaron gasped softly, his voice so low as he detached his hand from hers and stretched the bloodied hand up, caressed her cheeks adoringly. "Don’t cry, baby," he mumbled. "I hate to see you in tears," he wheezed.
"Why did you?!" she cried, her hands still applying pressure to his wound. "How could you do this? Why?!" she cried, her eyes frantically looking around to see people through her hazy eyes.
"Someone should call the ambulance!" she yelled in a pleading tone, then turned her gaze to Aaron, who looked like he was still holding the tiny string of life.
"Baby, my ears are ringing—" he coughed out, and his eyelids tried to flutter closed.
