"Do you have a lot of work to handle?" Mi Jing asked, her voice deliberately loud as she looked at Shen Lingxing with sleepy eyes.
In the quiet of the night, Mi Jing’s sudden voice sounded somewhat abrupt, immediately catching Shen Lingxing’s attention.
"Why did you wake up?" Shen Lingxing asked.
"Aren’t you awake too?" Mi Jing replied while getting out of bed, putting on her slippers, and heading towards the study.
Seeing Mi Jing approaching, Shen Lingxing calmly closed his design draft book, then picked up the open folder beside it and placed it on top of the draft book.
"Thirsty? Should I make you some tea?" Mi Jing stopped at the carved window frame, not stepping into the study.
"I’m not thirsty. You go back to bed and continue sleeping," Shen Lingxing said considerately.
But Mi Jing didn’t listen to him and headed straight for the stairs.
A few minutes later, Mi Jing came upstairs carrying a teapot and a ceramic cup. Her steps were steady and light, and she held the teapot so firmly that not a single drop of water spilled out.
"What’s this?"
