Concerned about Karena’s well-being, Roland temporarily bid farewell to his mother and headed next door to the Kaur residence.
Fortunately, Roland had a key to the Kaur’s house, allowing him to enter without knocking.
There was no need for formalities between the two families; they had long since abandoned any pretense of privacy, practically living as one household.
