Chapter 92: Just a kiss
Pentharis’ face darkened when he heard what Aric said. "You did what?" he asked.
"I promised that you can make metal of different types. I needed a hook for business, and I saw that as an opportunity," Aric said, his lips still curled up into a smile.
"Why the hell would you do that? Even if I had the potential to do that, I don’t want to be forced into doing it," Pentharis said.
"Just learn how to do it already, it’s no big deal," Unara said.
"The hell did you say to me?" Pentharis snapped.
"Woah, woah, woah, that’s enough. I didn’t bring it up to cause any arguments, so dial it down, both of you," Aric said. He looked over to Pentharis.
"Let me make it clear, Pentharis, you don’t have much of a choice. It’s a direct order from me. You need to do this. The baron is secondary, but you learning how to make different types of metal will be very useful to us in more ways than you think.
Other people have to dig deep into the ground to find metal, but we have you, and we need your abilities," Aric said, his words calm as the morning breeze. He got his point across to Pentharis.
Pentharis let out a tired sigh. He leaned back into his chair and folded his arms. "Fine, I’ll do it, but that means all the spirits have to learn theirs as well," he said.
"They will, for certain," Aric assured.
