Building a World Class Empire in another World

Chapter 73: Subordinates

Aric didn’t understand why that rage for humans started rising so much. He understood that humans did some evil things to him, or so his memories said, but the anger he felt towards them was not normal—it wasn’t from him.

Aric cleared his head up and walked back to the Baron and Andre, who were bleeding from the thorn vines. He sat down in front of them, looking at both of them with an expressionless gaze.

"I have to discuss with the others about what exactly to do with you and the rest of your men. Releasing you easily is not an option because you could easily bring a mighty army here, and that’s not good for anyone.

At the same time, you are a Baron. If you go missing for far too long, your people will surely start a search for you, so there’s that as well," Aric said. He snapped his fingers, and the vines withered and fell to the ground.

"So I’ll keep you captive for a few days as we talk about it, if that’s fine," he said. He got up and walked to the door. "I advise you to try your best to stay inside the house. Anyone out there might kill you before I can stop them," Aric said and walked out.

Immediately after he left the house, he was shocked by what was going on.

He was the one who asked Ron to get the goblins working, but he didn’t think it would move so fast. Several buildings were already coming into place.

He was so distracted by the Baron and Andre that he didn’t even notice when all this was going on. He walked to the front and saw that even the farm had been extended by a lot. The goblins were still planting inside the farm, some were helping cut wood, and some were building—it was a full work site here.

Aric couldn’t help but smile. A week or so ago, he was struggling to get things in place, but now, he had a fully running system.

"Seems all the goblins decided to stay," Ariel said as she walked up from behind him.
