Building a World Class Empire in another World

Chapter 23: Building the wall Part 1

Aric knew that there was no point in worrying about it for now. He would just have to give it his best tonight; it's not like he had any other option.

But still, he wanted to have faith and be hopeful, so he decided to go through with the wall that he was building.

Now that he had the goblins, he should have been able to do it easily, but now Ariel was watching the human lady that was lying there unconscious.

"(Sigh) I guess the goblins will have to do for now," Aric said and walked out. He opened the system and immediately bought more tools for all the goblins.

He got all the hoes he would need for three thousand. He only needed about ten because the rest of the goblins would be carrying the logs and planting them in the ground while Aric would be the one carving out the wood.

The first thing, though, was that he needed to mark the area where he would make the wall. So he got the strings. He spoke to five of the goblins, asking them to carry the sticks and follow him.

They did as he said and grabbed the sticks. Aric took out a tape he bought, placed it on the ground, and then placed a large rock on it. He started pulling the tape in one direction.

His target was two hundred and fifty feet. He kept going with the goblins following close behind. Luckily, he and Ariel had cleared most of the land already, and only a bit of the two hundred and fifty entered the uncleared part of the forest in that direction.

There was no way he would be able to continue if he didn't cut down the trees that blocked the path. He placed the tape on the ground and a stone on it.

"Head back and get the axe," he said to one of the goblins. He sent the goblin a mental image of what the axe looked like.
