Chapter 237: Grandpa, Help!
"Mister! You can’t touch my Daddy Enzo!" Kimmy suddenly stepped forward, shielding Enzo from the police officers.
"He is a good guy! The driver is lying!" Kimmy added as she continued defending Enzo.
She even raised her small fists in a fighting stance.
"You will go through me first. My Uncle V taught me how to fight!" She warned them.
The police officers didn’t know whether to laugh or not. The young girl looked so cute but at the same time, she was serious.
"Little kid. We are not here to fight you. Our duty is to protect children like you," the team leader spoke softly. He was being patient toward Kimmy. He thought the child was too young to understand the situation, that’s why she was acting like that.
"Hmmp! You are the bad guys for accusing an innocent person," Kimmy spat back.
Gael and Enzo could only watch her with a grateful look on their faces. Though she was young, Kimmy wasn’t afraid to speak her mind even against the police officers.
It did not take long before Enzo held her shoulders.
"It’s okay, Kimmy. I will cooperate with them because I am innocent. I will not run away because I know within myself that I didn’t commit any crime." Enzo reassured the child.
"There must be a big misunderstanding here." Alice joined the conversation. She was also doubtful about the evidence they were talking about.
"I will contact a lawyer," Gael said, making a move. He would do anything to protect Enzo.
