Chapter 235: The Culprit Behind the Hit-and-Run
Lanny and Aaron were preparing the things they would bring to the hospital. Lanny brought assorted fruits and packed them in a large basket. She did this only because Aaron insisted on bringing something while visiting Dominique.
"Mommy, can I tag along with you?" Kimmy asked her mother. Aside from visiting Dominique, Little Kimmy’s main goal was to see Gael. She knew that Gael was in the hospital.
"Just stay here with your Uncle Dmitri. Your brother and I won’t stay long in the hospital." Lanny didn’t agree to bring Kimmy with her. She couldn’t take care of the two children at once.
Kimmy pouted her lips, feeling a little bit disappointed.
"Besides, your Uncle doesn’t have company here. You should entertain him, okay?"
"But Mom..."
"Mommy, Aunt Athena is coming with us, right? I think Kimmy can come with us." Aaron didn’t want to waste any more time since he was dying to see Dominique. He wanted to make sure that he was just fine.
Lanny heaved a sigh of defeat. "Alright. You can come with us."
Kimmy jumped with joy and excitement while giving her brother an ’approve’ sign. She was grateful since her brother supported her.
Soon the three of them left Lanny’s condo unit. Fortunately, Dmitri had to meet Vladimir so he didn’t notice when Lanny and the children departed.
A few minutes later, at the hospital...
Lanny was surprised when she stumbled with Enzo and Alice in the hospital lobby. It looked like Alice finally heard the news of Dominique’s accident. Enzo mentioned it to her last night. And when Enzo told her that he would be visiting Dominique, Alice didn’t hesitate to come along.
