Chapter 196: A Perfect Scheme
Sasha turned around, humming softly as she busied herself with the drinks. Athena quickly stepped back, retreating to her seat before Sasha could notice her presence.
When Sasha returned with the drinks, Athena’s mind was still reeling. She accepted her glass with a forced smile, her eyes flicking to the suspicious wine glass Sasha handed to her husband, Dominique.
’What the hell? The wine is for Dominique. But why? Why is she spiking Dominique’s drink?’ Athena felt a little bit confused as she stared at the wine glass in Dominique’s hand.
"Let’s toast for the new beginning of Ashton and Athena!" Sasha raised her glass, smiling from ear to ear.
The aphrodisiac drug she bought was the strongest kind of drug on the market. Doc Melissa helped her to get this new drug. Melissa provided Sasha with the serum.
’I wonder if this newly created drug will take effect on Dominique and can make him hard.’ She mused to herself, anticipating the upcoming result.
As they clinked glasses in a toast, Athena’s hand trembled slightly. She knew she had to find a way to stop this, but she needed to be careful. Any wrong move could alert Sasha, and the consequences could be dire.
Before any of them could take a sip of their respective wines, Athena groaned, pretending to have a stomach cramp.
"Ouch!" She put down her glass and pressed her palm against her belly.
Both Dominique and Ashton were alarmed when they saw them in pain.
"Hey, Athena, what’s wrong?" Ashton immediately held her shoulders, supporting her body. His worry was painted on his face.
Meanwhile, Dominique tried his best not to hold Athena, even though he was worried sick about her.
