Chapter 79: Wrath
When Dominique left, Gael returned inside the house. As he entered the door, Athena ran in his direction with a worried expression on her face.
"Gael, are you hurt?" Athena witnessed the intense interaction between Dominique and Gael through the intercom video.
Gael just responded with a nod and a reassuring smile.
Athena heaved a sigh of relief. She saw the two men getting physical with each other. She was surprised when Gael punched Dominique in his face and Dominique didn’t even fight back.
Unfortunately, she couldn’t hear the conversation between the two men at that time. She could only see their movements and actions.
Athena pulled Gael’s hand, making him sit on the sofa. "What does he want from you?" she asked him curiously.
Gael looked at her with conflicting thoughts. He hesitated for a moment before answering her.
"He confronted me about you. He was still thinking that you were alive and I was hiding you from him... along with your child. He suspected Aaron as his biological son."
Athena gasped when she heard that. "This can’t be. I can’t let him get close with Aaron."
Gael fell silent, his eyes still fixed on Athena. During his confrontation with Dominique, he sensed that a story in the past didn’t add up. It didn’t make sense at all when Dominique denied the fact he asked Sabrina to abort their child.
Gael didn’t know if he was telling the truth. However, he saw the shock and devastation in Dominique’s eyes when he mentioned the abortion.
In the end, Gael decided not to inform Athena about this. He didn’t want her to get confused.
