George stared at Madeline’s back and asked Nurse Dalton, "Who is that girl?"
"Ah, I forgot this is only your third day in the hospital. But she is Madeline Rose. Yes, that Madeline Rose you see on TV." Nurse Dalton sighed. "Please don’t disturb her or even try to insult her. She’s living a hard life."

"Her mother is getting better. If the cancer cell doesn’t regrow in the next six months, she should be able to return home," Nurse Dalton said. "About money... that’s the tragic part of Madeline’s life..."
Nurse Dalton’s eyes glazed with tears as she spent five years seeing Madeline struggle to raise money for her mother.
"She’s actually a very sweet girl. "Does she not know Madeline Rose is back in the entertainment industry?" George asked.
"No, and Madeline told us not to tell her. Because she doesn’t want her mother to know," Nurse Dalton replied. She lowered her voice and added, "You know, about her case with that actor back then, Jonathan Hale?"
