Chapter 294: Remnant of Another Woman
Viviana ran to Leander. He was not even holding the baby properly. The baby sounded hoarse and it didn’t even have the strength to cry. It must have been crying for a long time.
The outdoor staff and the indoor staff all gathered to hear the baby’s voice. There is something to a pitiful cry of a baby that invokes the inner protective feeling of anyone.
Viviana couldn’t figure out what was going on too. The cloth covering the baby was not even a towel. The baby was covered with the microfiber cleaning cloth used to wipe cars. She could see the little bud-like toes wriggling.

Viviana got the baby from his hands. Looking at the baby, her heart fell. It was a girl. She was light as a feather. The baby was still covered in blood and bodily fluids. The cut of the umbilical cord was serrated and a thread was used instead of a clamp.
The baby must have been delivered an hour or two earlier. It was such a pitiful sight that made her blood boil. Something inside her clicked seeing the puffy eyes of the baby. Her little pink mouth was open and she couldn’t even make a sound anymore. Her tightly clenched hands searched for something.
She noticed the monogram on the cloth. It belonged to Leander.

"Where did you find the baby, Leander?" she asked him holding the baby to her chest to warm her. Her heart started to race. If the baby is covered with a rag from Leander’s car, where and how did this newborn baby end up with him?
He was standing there like a statue. This baby clearly needs medical assistance. What was he thinking when he brought her here?
"You’re not worried about touching another woman’s remnants now?" he asked.
