Chapter 269: She is His
Lionel was about to explain it further, but Leander waved his hand. He looked like he was in deep thought.
"Who killed your mother?" he asked.
"I always thought it was my father who killed my mother or it could be that woman he married. But... I have no proof but I think it might be a kill-for-a-kill deal," Lionel said.
This is as far as he could go to imply Peter in the death of Victoria Viceroy.
"You have no proof," Leander said. His burrows twitched as he squinted his eyes. "I’ll leave now. I don’t want to talk to you again."
Leander’s voice didn’t waver as if he had arrived to a conclusion. Lionel sighed as Leander left banging the door close. He half-expected this would be the result. Lionel opened his eyes as the door opened a few seconds later.
"You will not talk about this to anyone else, not even Brie," Leander said pointing his finger at Lionel. He then closed the door again.
Lionel sat on the couch with a deep sigh. Leander thinks Brie would talk to Bellissima about this. Only then he realized that he was still holding the letter. HE was about to stand up when the door opened again.
Leander walked in and got the letter from Lionel’s hand and turned to leave a gust of wind on his wake.
"You should read my script," Lionel said.
