Chapter 248: Absurd Possibility
Viviana heard the revving engine of the motorbike. She almost ran away but her back was hurting and she didn’t want to exert too much energy.
"Coming?" Leander asked stopping beside her.
Viviana said nothing and climbed behind him. She was worried that he might shout at her if she holds him and so she sat farther back without touching him. She angered him by arguing with him. He does not like it when she argues.
She leaned further back when he removed his helmet. He sighed.
"You’re not wearing your helmet?" he asked.
Viviana shook her head. "I want to feel the wind on my face."
She told him the truth. She thought Leander would not accept her wish but he nodded. He didn’t sigh so Viviana thought that he was not mad at her.
"Hold on to me," he said.
She scooted closer to him and wrapped her arms around his waist readily. Resting her face on his back, she smiled. "I love this..."
Leander wore his helmet and zoomed off. She didn’t have the chance to see his smile. He was happy that his wife doesn’t drag out the fight longer than it should be. They do not see eye to eye in this issue. But it is not going to break them.
Viviana hugged him closer as the motorbike moved. But Leander slowed down almost immediately and drove at a normal speed. "I love you, honey," she rubbed his thigh. She understood that he was going slow because she complained about back pain.
They reached home. Viviana got down first and tried to rush inside. She needed to use the bathroom. But Leander held her hand.
