Chapter 86: Battle
Suddenly, Davi vanished into thin air, and in his place, five imposing enemies emerged. To make the situation even worse, hundreds of monsters were unleashed in the middle of the student camp, bringing chaos.
Noticing that her enemies’ intention was to create chaos, Sophia quickly scanned the surroundings, she needed to look for the best way for a contour atack.
However, before she could even open her mouth to give orders, a sharp pain shot through her body, making her eyes widen as she struggled to suppress a scream.
Luckily, she managed to dodge the assassination attempt by instinct, but her shoulder was still cut by an invisible blade that seemed to come out of nowhere.
Of course, the blonde girl had seen Davi block that attack just moments before, so she had an idea of who was responsible. Still, knowing that Sherazade was invisible and ready to strike again was useless if she had no way of locating her opponent.
But the woman was not alone on that battlefield. Her ever-loyal servant was, as always, at her side and was the first to react to the situation.
Once again, he summoned that creature that looked like a bat, with a large eye in the center of its forehead. Quickly, the creature scanned the hundreds of types of mana present in that place until it found one that matched Sherazade’s.
Carlos then connected his vision to that of his monster, allowing him to see the world as mana, just as the creature did. Naturally, the change made him dizzy for a moment, but he had trained extensively to use that ability properly. So, before Sherazade could attack Sophia again, he intervened, drawing a sword and deflecting her strike.
Immediately afterward, he summoned two more creatures. One of them resembled a large rhinoceros and, as soon as it was summoned, charged aggressively at the opponent.
The second creature was even stranger. Its appearance resembled that of a small chimpanzee, but hairless and with an eerily pale complexion. Additionally, its limbs were disproportionately long compared to its small body, making the creature even more strange to look at.
Anyway, following its master’s orders, the bizarre creature let out a roar, causing several adverse effects on Sherazade. However, despite losing speed and strength, she still managed to dodge the attack from the charging monster.
